On Thursday, April 17, 2014, we began to implement a large-scale garden plan for Woodview School.  We started with an herb garden and have now installed five raised beds for vegetables, a tepee for nasturtiums, an area for sunflowers, and a native plant garden.  Check out our progress below!

We again received an amazing number of students interested in the Woodview Sprouts Garden Club!  It ran for seven weeks on Mondays through May 23.  If your child missed out on it this time around, they still spend time in the garden with their class this spring; ask them about it!

A Garden Shed

Picture
When you create a garden, you need many tools to tend to it.  As our garden grew, we found the need for a Garden Shed.  On Sunday, April 26th, the foundation was poured thanks to many committed parents and friends.  Continuing the build this summer were Gerry O'Sullivan and Darrin Spicer. We thank them tremendously for their hard work!
